Program Description

The ITSA (Instructional Tutoring for Student Achievement) program provides additional instruction for students who need extra support in either reading or math. The program provides supplemental materials, activities, and instruction in a small group setting (5 to 15 students). ITSA meets Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The Migrant Education After School Program is designed to offer additional tutoring and/or assistance in language arts or math to qualifying students.

How does my child qualify for this program?

Students may qualify for ITSA based on SAT/9 scores, Benchmark tests, classroom achievement, and attendance. In addition, teacher recommendations and parent requests are honored as space allows.

Eligibility for the Migrant Education After School Program depends on specific federal requirements. Services are provided to at-risk migrant students as identified through SAT/9 scores.
